CHRYSALIS ROBOTICS FOR GIRLS
Where it's cool to be smart !
Women are dramatically under-represented in the tech sector. Not only that, but they’re underpaid, often passed for promotions and faced with every day sexism. It’s no wonder women are more likely to leave the industry within a year compared to their male counterparts
At Chrysalis Robotics this issue is close to our heart. Danielle Bessler after whom the Danielle Bessler Foundation is named was one of only two females at Normal Ears, the app development company where she worked.
Why create a program that is only open to girls? Because even today in the 21st Century, girls with skills who have great ideas are often reluctant or discouraged to speak up or speak out in the presence of boys.
Chrysalis Robotics for Girls was our first program and we take great pride in watching girls gain confidence and find their voices.
